The venue for the Indian Formula One, Jaypee's Buddh International Circuit, is finally well and truly ready.

The 5.4 km long racetrack gets its name from ‘Buddha’, the deity of peace, the racetrack’s new name also reflects its reference to the Gautam Budh Nagar District where the Jaypee Sports City is being made. The Buddh International Circuit is said to become the second fastest track on the Formula 1 calendar after Monza and expects the fastest lap times to be under 1min27s with average speeds crossing 210 kmph.
